Yo! We're in Oklahoma City at our good friends' Dave and Kelly Klein's house. We played Kansas City, MO last night. The venue was so amazing. The promoter, Mary, led us to the venue which was in the industrial part of KC right near a livestock feed company. We got out of the truck and at first we all were kind of weirded out..... "what the hell are we doing here?," was my first thought. It looked like an area the mob would bring someone to "disappear." Anyway... Mary opens the door of an old railroad office revealing a skatepark/ venue! It was so damn cool. Tons of kids were already there skating before the show. Something we could only dream of having back home. The show was great... do yourself a favor, check out these bands: COME UNDONE, NOTHING ELSE, SHUT YOUR MOUTH, & HELIUM HEAD. So, after the show Mary took us to her friend's house where we were staying that night. They were complete strangers to us, but they had a room all set up with beds! First time we hadn't slept on a floor or couch the entire tour! Once again we are overwhelmed by the kindness of strangers on this tour......... I dont even know the peoples names that we stayed with; they had gone to work by the time we woke up.... so whoever you were, thanks! So we drove all day to Oklahoma City. No show tonight, but tomorrow we've got a house show here in town.... so that should be sweet. Anyway, we're gonna go to a park an toss around a football now.... check back later....

So after a 12 hour drive from Johnson City, Tennessee; we are now in Kansas City. Im exhausted. We're hanging out at the promoter for the show tonight, Mary's house. She's been good to us; letting us shower and sleep for awhile. We had a day off on Monday. We went to the St. Loius Zoo and it was raining so none of the animals were out. So we went bowling with Big Drawz and our new friend Amelia. Amelia kicked all of our asses one game.... granny style too. WTF! Big thank you to Mike, Amelia, and Megan for all they did for us while we were in St. Louis. Especially Mike for letting us crash at his house and Amelia and Megan for their generousity. We left St. Louis yesterday morning and drove non-stop to Tennessee only to turn right back around after the show and go through St. Louis again. Why? Becasue we are Hellfire Trigger and we always do ridiculous tour schedules. The show last night was pretty cool. Our friends The Pigs got us on the show thank you to them for helping us out. It started at 10, so we left after ours and The Pigs sets since we had a horrible drive ahead of us. The crowd didnt seem to care about the music, just the beer and conversation so we were glad to play first. So yeah.... absolutley nothing exciting about the last couple days. Aren't you glad you read this?

Allright, it's been a few days. So we played Breadstretchers in Springfield, Il on Saturday night. It was a damn good time, and a lot of our friends were there. It was pretty exhausting since we played about ten covers after our set. They kept yelling 'em out... so we obliged. Pound For Pound was badass as usual, getting the crowd all hyped up. Kentucky Knife Fight are so different from all the bands that played, but they still managed to impress everyone in attendance. XKick to tha HeadX had people moving from the very beginning, they were fuckin great. After the show, we all went to Perkins restaurant, where I got charged $3.50 for a tiny ass milkshake.... the damn thing was mostly whip cream too. But you probably dont give a shit about my milkshake, but if you know me, you know thats a big deal to me dammit. Anyway..... we retreated back to Luke and Suzie's house and rested up for a new day. Sunday we lounged around and watched football, including the Charger game where they destroyed the Broncos for the AFC West title! Yeah!

We had a show in St. Louis so we gathered our stuff and had to say goodbye to Luke and Suzie and our tour home away from home. A huge thanks to Luke and Suzie Tartar for putting us up once again and feeding us very well! Tour would be such a pain without you guys! Thanks again! We got down to St. Louis around 7:00. Our friend Mike, (Big Drawz), was waiting for us at his house with an awsome BBQ. So damn good! We were playing The Slaughterhouse which is literally what it was. This guy has an abandoned slaughterhouse in his backyard... the place is amazing... the building is all brick. We took pictures of the place, Ill post 'em soon. Its too hard to do this place justice without pictures. Just think of Silent Hill and thats basically what it looks like. Before the show a couple of us went looking for a liquor store to get some soda. I guess that wasn't such a good idea in South St. Louis. We got some pretty hard looks and one guy was yelling he was gonna cap us... needless to say we hurried back to the slaughterhouse. We played in the basement as if the other parts of this place werent scary enough.... We had to carry our equipment down very long, narrow wooden stairs, it was so cold down there. We played second, it was so hard to hear, but I think we pulled it off..... An awsome Italian band played after us, I didnt catch their name, but they were really damn good. Then we went back to Drawz's house, where we hung out with a Les Claypool look-a-like named Jared. He was playing air guitar to Quiet Riot until about 4:00 am, haha good times. So now im sitting in the living room waiting for the rest of the guys to get up so we can go hang out in St. Louis. We're going to the free zoo, eating at Fitz'z, and going to Vintage Vinyl! An awsome day!

    2:00 pm
So, we're in Springfield, Il now at our good friends' Luke and Suzie Tartar's house. Everything is completley covered in snow. Im used to seeing massive cornf ields surrounding their house and its all snow. Last night the truck almost slid down the driveway after we parked it. So we played in a basement in Champaign, Il last night. It was pretty awsome. Nicholas grew up playing in basements out here, but for the rest of us it was our first. There was a good crowd of people there. Pretty much a drunkfest, but I didnt mind as long as no one bothered me. It got pretty crazy at some points, people getting knocked down, and getting slammed into the poles that were holding the house up, haha. Afterwards we came here and passed out. We've pretty much just been lounging all day, watching TV and hanging out. Luke is cooking up a turkey for us, which im stoked on! Finally a home cooked meal!
We play Breadstretcher's tonight. We've played there about three times previously and its always a good time. All the bands on the bill, Pound For Pound, XKick to tha HeadX, and Kentucky Knife Fight are good friends of ours. Nothing much else to report at this time...... Ill write again later.

Well, last nights show in Wichita, Kansas turned out to be pretty cool.... Everyone there was really nice and they seemed to like us... Every tour we've been on so far; a theme seems to develop. We were all talking about it last night, and this tour its the kindness of strangers. People that we've just met at these shows have been going out of their way to help us out in any way they can... from places to stay, to food, to gas money. We just want to thank all of you so much. It really means a lot when we're so far away from home. Diatribe was fuckin awsome, check 'em out for sure. Thanks again to Lance for hooking us up with the show!
Now we're at our friends' Hank and Erin Patton's house in Champaign, Illinois. We drove all night from Kansas. A few gas stations we stopped at last night it was nine degrees. What the fuck! How do people live in this cold? Ive never been so cold in my life! But we made it! I think Im the only one awake, everyone is passed out and snoring. We're playing a house show here tonight... I think in a basement. Should be badass. Im looking forward to seeing all our friends here in Illinois. Thats all for now, I think im gonna get some sleep too. Welp, see ya later!

Damn its cold! We're in Denver now.... we drove all day from Salt Lake City, UT through Wyoming so it was a damn boring drive. We got to Denver at about 6:00pm. We had about an hour till the doors opened so we walked the streets checking things out. Around 7:00pm we got to the venue. We were playing at Sox Place again. This is where we played with A18 last summer. Its an awsome place that doubles as a teen outreach center as well as a venue. We were pretty excited about this show. Rally The Fray was amazing last time we played with them and Dead Hearts were playing tonight too. Rebuild and Carry Forth by Day started the show off with a bang! They were both awsome. Then we played... I wasnt expecting much of a reaction since we were the odd band out, but people seemed to like us..... and we got quite a few compliments and sold some merch, so we were happy. Rally The Fray was fucking great! The kids went insane.... they grabbed pillows off of the couches and were smacking eachother and just going off. Dead Hearts came on afterwards and the pillow pandemonium continued... Dead Hearts were incredible, they're so damn good. They're also really nice guys. Do yourself a favor and check out all the bands I mentioned. After the show we went with a couple of the locals to a Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food... so I was a little hesitant to order anything. But I ended up ordering a gyro and it was ok...... my stomach is thrashed. Now its Thursday morning. We're at Mark from Rally The Fray's house. He was kind enough to let us crash here. We're about to head out to Wichita, Kansas for our next show tonight..... it should be fun! Ill write again when I can...

    Hanging Out in Salt Lake
Yo. We're hanging out in Salt Lake City, UT right now at our friend's house. The Salt Lake show got cancelled... so we had a day off. Im kind of glad my voice needs a rest. We drove all day long and we're exhausted. Last night's show was AMAZING! Ill let Forrest tell you about it, im too tired...

Yo! Forrest here chillin In the SLC Utah. So the show last night was amazing as C.j. said. We got into Nevada and we were greeted by Chris of Fatality with a home cooked meal and rad records I've never heard of before. IT was really nice to get away fromt the fast food crap for once. We left for the show and it was just down the main road right off of it. And it was just some kids living room. All the kids were rad as fuck. The first band opened, they play tuff and after them set up Kamacasi Attitude, which is a really awesome and powerful Black Flag, JFA skate punk band, and they literally fucking RIPPPPPPPED. Then we played and kids went NUTS. The small living room erupted into a really dangerous cirlce pit of kids stumbling over each other and doing their best not to run into us (although most failed). We played our Black Flag duo and even the kids from outside barged in to sing along, it was awesome, we couldn't of wished for a better response. After us was FATALITY, a crust hardcore band. They had alot of power and emotion to their set and really out on an amazing show. I just want to get home so I can listen to their 7 inch. But after the show the kids all handed us money for gas, even though there was no cover charge. Their generousity was so amazing. It was cool to see kids who still support bands like that. Denver tomorrow and we get to play with FUCKING DEAD HEARTS at The sox place, an old car shop, turned punk venue. So be sure to check back for the report. NORTH COUNTY HARDCORE, PEACE.

    Hanging out in Lake Tahoe
Hey everybody... the show tonight was supposed to be in Reno, Nevada, but it got moved to a house show in Lake Tahoe! We're playing in someones living room ! We're stoked, house shows are our absolute favorites, Right now we're hanging out at this cool kid Chris' house. He sings for one of the bands we're playing with tonight, Fatality. He lives in a mansion! I think his garage is bigger than my house. He's been awsome to us, making us spaghetti and letting us go thru his record collection. Its cold up here! lots of snow on the ground. We passed by the Donner party pass, and played around in the snow for awhile..... well, its almost time to go to the show.... Ill write again as soon as I can...

    Douchebags and Fire!
Well we had quite an interesting evening... the show was cool. Kill Him Kill Her ripped. A band called Idle Discourse played as well... not my style, but they were good at what they do and they were nice. My throat is thrashed. Im not sure whats up, I guess its the cold weather..... so my vocals will be sounding like shit. Something awsome happened after the show.... We were going to a Mexican food place in downtown Chico.... There are huge piles of leaves swept to the sides of the roads. Probably four feet high. Some douche in a Jeep thought he'd be funny and run over the pile. Its weird because Forrest and I were singing some XCHORUSX lyrics: "I'm on fire, what I see you destroy!" right after he pulled up. The guy and his buddies got out looking pleased with themselves and went inside the restaurant. Sure enough, within a few minutes the Jeep went up in flames! The idiot had sucked a bunch of leaves into the engine and it lit the mother fucker on fire! We ran in there and told the guy his SUV was on fire. Some girl said no its not your Jeep he said SUV. He actually listened to her! He hesitated going out there to check.... I dont know about you, but if someone ran in a restaurant yelling that my car was on fire I'd atleast go check it out.... He finally ran out there and his buddy actually tried to get in and drive it away; thinking only the leaves underneath were on fire. So they dragged his ass out of there and the fire department came, but by this time the entire front of the car was engulfed.... It was awsome, I was kind of hoping it would blow up... does that make me an asshole? Haha ok im tired Reno, Nevada tomorrow! Home of 7 Seconds!

Yo, we're in Chico, CA now, hanging out with our good friend Greg Pope. We'll be playing with his band Kill Him
Kill Her, here in Chico in about an hour. Last night, we played in Victorville with Battalion of Saints, Naked
Aggression, Dirtbag, Spitting On Cops, and Subvert; along with a lot of other great bands.... Verbal Abuse was
supposed to play, but unfortunatley they never showed. It was an all day show and 26 bands total. It was a very
loooooooooong night and it was cold as fuck! But we had a great time, a lot of good friends present that we haden't
seen for awhile. The turnout was incredible! You could barley walk thru the place! Most memorable moment of the
evening was the nazi fight... some nazi guy got into with security and there was a huge brawl... good times. Thanks
to all the high desert kids for coming out, we love you all!
So, after the show we loaded our gear and piled into Nicholas' truck. We deciced to drive a couple hours to cut
down on our drive today.... We drove until 2:00am, and decided to pull into a Best Rest Inn in Gormon?, Ca. The standard procedure for renting a room on tour is one or two guys go in and rent for two people. Then its up to the rest of us to sneak in...... A.J. went in to rent and the rest of us waited. A.J. and Nicholas ran in first. The guy at the front desk didn't see them, but by the time Rick, Forrest, and I walked in he was sitting in the lobby facing the hallway watching. I turned the corner so I was spotted... I told Rick and Forrest under my breathe to stay put and to wait there for us to tell them to come to the room. A.J. walked out and distracted the guy while Rick and Forrest stuck in... it was way too much effort at 2:00 am, but it probably saved us another $80.
We woke up about 10:00am this morning, and headed to Chico. Pretty much drove all day. Nothing too eventful. Just made fun of A.J. a lot....its what I do. Well, its time to head to the show....

    Here We Go Again..................................
Wow, tour is here! If any of you have been watching the news the past couple of days, you know that the Midwest is being pounded with severe snow storms. Guess where we're going! I dont know what we were thinking when we decided to book this tour in December, but Im looking forward to this trip. Snow is always something I've been able to drive to and away from. It's going to be a new experience to be stuck in it.
We played our tour kick off show last night at The Jumping Turtle in San Marcos, Ca. It was our last in North County for a very long time. We played with Roger Miret & The Disasters, Angel City Outcasts, & Naked Aggression. It was a fun show, a couple of idiots present, but thats a give in. Fuckin' Bruno went after some guy and got kicked out! Haha Bruno you're awsome! I want to thank all of you that came out to support us last night. It means so much to me and the rest of the guys right now. We're going through some hardships with the band and its nice knowing you still care. We lost Shaun last month, but we're carrying on without him with heavy hearts while he figures some things out for himself. Rick is gone again after tour and what we're going to do as of now is unknown..... so the next two weeks we're just gonna play our asses off and have the time of our lives!
I tried to say this last night during our set, but I couldnt find the words, so Ill say it now.... Our scene is in trouble. Back when we started Hellfire Trigger, there were some bands in North County, but now there are a shit load of bands.... and there is a serious lack of unity and respect for one another. Im not saying you should get a long with every band, 'cause we sure as hell don't, but choose your enemies wisely. You arent going to help your band by making a lot of enemies.... be good to eachother and make this scene fun. We may not be playing for awhile, but we'll still be around.
Well, Ive got some last minute shit to do before we leave for Victorville... Tonight we're playing with Battalion of Saints, Verbal Abuse, Naked Aggression, Dirtbag, Rabies, S.O.C., and a shit load of other awsome bands! Ill update again soon...

    Whats up from Chicago!
    Hey,
We're in Chicago now! Hanging out at this cool girl named Stephanie's house. We're all just kicking back getting ready for the show tonight. Last night we played in Denver, Colorado. Yeah thats right, I said Denver, Colorado. We drove all night and all day after the show to get to Chicago today. It was brutal. The place we played in Denver was called Sox Place. Besides being a venue its a homeless outreach center. It was one of the coolest venues we've ever played for sure. Locals, Rally The Fray opened the show and they were fucking great. They did a Chain of Strength cover that was very impressive. Then we played, once again we were different than the other bands, but everyone who came out to the show last night was really cool, and quite a few people complimented us after our set. A18 was amazing as usual. Kids seemed very excited to see them and the set went off. Then another local, Mutiny took the stage and they were amazing! check them out now! We met Kevin from INSTED at the show last night... he was there to see A18. I fucking love INSTED and I was stoked to get too meet him. Mike Hartsfield had to fly home after last nights show.... His father is having some health problems and he felt he needed to go be with his family. I completley understand and I would do the same. So with heavy hearts we are carrying on without him, but our thoughts are with Mike and the entire Hartsfield family. So Im gonna take a shower now..... almost time to go the the show! We'll be hitting Springfield, Illinois next! See you soon!

    Salt Lake City
Hey everybody..... we are in Salt Lake City right now. We played at a really cool place last night called Club Overdrive for Aftermath of a Trainwreck's last show. We're staying at Blake's house (Aftermath's drummer). Big thanks to him and his girlfriend for putting us up. I dont know why the hell Im awake right now; since I only got two hours of sleep yesterday. A18 and the rest of HFT are passed the fuck out. Anyway, last nights show was pretty cool.... We didn't get much of a reaction, but I didnt really expect us to, we were the odd band out as usual, but we did sell some cd's and a couple shirts so we did better than I thought we would. A18 was amazing! Salt Lake loves them! Kids were going off and buying their merch the entire show... they are almost completely out. Blake from Aftermath's new band XCool Your JetsX played, I really liked it....late 80's, early 90's hardcore sounding, definitley check them out. Another band from Salt Lake, Tamerlane, played a well. They were pretty damn good, very heavy. Aftermath was up last and wow did the place go apeshit. I was standing on the merch table and almost got knocked off a few times when it got bumped from people flying into it. It was a great set and like I said during our set last night: We owe Aftermath a lot. They inspired Mike Hartsfield to bring New Age Records back from the dead and we will be forever greatful to them for that. Being a part of the New Age family has done so much for us. So thank you Aftermath of a Trainwreck, great set and good luck to all of you in whatever you do next. Well, as soon as these guys get up, we're off to Denver. I'll try to update again soon.....
    Byyyyyyyaaaaahhh!

    Thanks Everyone!
Big thanks to all that came out to the tour kickoff shows this weekend! Tonight's show with TSOL was amazing! TSOL was flawless as usual, I love seeing them live. A18 was incredible, the place was going off! Im really excited to be touring with them. Truely one of my favorite bands. Dogmatic was great too. Thank you for making Rick's last show with us so memorable! We love you Rick! Dirty from Wanted Dead filmed the show tonight, and he's going to make it into a DVD for us, so be sure to watch for that! Well.... I should probably go to bed, we've gotta leave at 5:30 am for a ten hour drive to Salt Lake City tomorrow......... CHICAGO OR BUST!

    We're Home
Yo everyone we just got back today....... We drove all night and the majority of the day to get home. The show last night in Amarillo was awsome. We couldn't have asked for a better tour ending show. Thanks to The Revolt, Ben Hur, and The First The Last. Thanks to the Pod for having the show. Im tired, don't feel like typing..... see ya.

    Oklahoma
Whats crackin? We're in Oklahoma right now... Our good friends Dave and Kelly Klein are putting us up, many thanks to them... So we drove here straight from Florida. We left early on Thursday morning and didn't get here until 10:00am on Friday. My throat and chest have been irritating me so much that I finally went to the doctor... I officially have Bronchitis. I've been able to sing at the shows, but its been rough. The doctor gave me a shot on my ass..... it was great.
Anyway, we played a show here in Oklahoma tonight. Not much of a turnout, but as always we had a great time. The opening band, Burn the Hive, was very impressive. These guys are young and really good. They only played a couple of originals, but I was way into the few they played. They also busted out a ton of awsome covers. The next band whos name I didnt catch, was really good too. Shaun stepped in for a few songs again and he wore sickeningly short shorts. Nicholas found a cow costume, udder equipped, and wore it during the set. I found a sweet cape too.

Thanks to Debi for hooking us up with this show on such short notice, we really appreciate it. So tomorrow we play our last show of the tour in Amarillo ,TX. Then we'll drive all night to get home! Its kind of bittersweet..... I miss home, but I love being on tour. My only responsibilities right now are playing shows.....tough eh? But I'm looking forward to getting home to sleep in my own bed and to see everyone.
    Until we meet again.......

    Illinois to Florida
Hey everyone it's C.J. again. I apologize for the tardiness of our update, but we've been moving non stop. Shaun calls this the "hussle and flow" tour. Illinois was awsome. It was great seeing all our friends like Luke and Suzie Tarter, who let us stay at their house the entire time and even fed us! Huge thank you to them! Tyler ("Im a lumberjack baby!") and Jeremy, thanks for hanging out with us fellas! Jeremy even barbequed for us on Saturday! Nicholas' grandparents gave us another huge feast! Thank you again! Thanks to Hank and Erin! Hank let Shaun borrow his amp so he could jump in on a few songs a couple of the shows. Big thanks to Mike from Pound For Pound for coming out to the show on Sunday, and the guys from Self Abused for helping us out witha P.A. on Halloween! Shout outs to all the bands we played with...... Pound For Pound, The Gunga-Dins, Kentucky Knife Fight, The Timmys, The Haddenfields, NIL8 (thanks for the show, Jeff!), and 321 Activate! The only bad part was that smoking is still legal in venues in the midwest and it really messed me up. Im not sure if Im allergic or what, but my throat closed up and I had to sit outside most of the shows; if I wanted to be able to sing the next day. I also got sick from it, I'm pretty sure I had a slight fever at one point, and I've had a really bad cough ever since..... Anyway, so we're in Florida now...we played in Daytona Beach with an awsome band Fortitude, fronted by our friend Pat. We also played with Coldside, who were awsome, and another band whos name escapes me at the moment..... maybe Nicholas will remember. Our friend Pat was kind enough to get us the show and let us stay at his house..... anyway im still not feeling 100% So Im not gonna go into detail about the shows, Im just plain tired.... Ill be honest I feel like crap, but Im still having the time of my life! I still cant believe I'm in Florida! I saw the Atlantic Ocean for the first time in my life today. Weird eh? Oh, before I go......... Join the New Age Records Street Team.... some of our shows on this tour weren't promoted at all...... Us, Countdown to life, Aftermath of a Trainwreck, Angels Die, and Just Went Black need your help promoting shows! Obviously we cant always count on the promoter! So join the street team! Thats all for now.............. sleep.

Denver, the journey to Illinois, and Illinois Day 1
Whats up everyone? It's C.J. Yes we're still alive! We haven't been able to get service on my laptop the last couple of days.... so thats the explanation for the lack of communication..... So we're in Springfield, Illinois at our good friend Luke and Suzies'. Chris and Gilbert just got back from a bar and they're well.....soggy.

Old soggy here. It was a dark and stormy night. The gales were rising high, our backs were against the wind, hopes were high, but alas the show in Denver was vacant except for the band we were playing with, and a few family members of theirs'. Not even the guy who set up the show came. anyhow, rick pooped, as i did myself and Gilbert. We did make some good contacts, and C.J. got heckled by some mallrats for wearing a misfits beany. Soggy stile. Their lucky to be alive. Furthermore we played with some band that started out like limp bizkit who fucked rage against the machine who got raped my some monkey who used to date , just bullshiting, they were good, and they were friendly, so their a o.k. with me. Henseforth. We discovered duck pussy in the back room and were amused for hours. im redickulous, anyhow the pics' will be arriving soon. we split that night and checked into a room just out side of town.

the next day we ate some greasy food and mounted up for a fucking 13 hour drive. it sucked, i slept most of the way except for when i was driving. we eventualy crashed at nicholas' friends house who i cant remember cause im soggy, at 2 in the morn. awooooo. duck pussy. its just funny to say. try it, you will like it. in summary, denver was o.k, i shot some firecrakers out of the car window, sean freaked out, and then i feel asleep. the end. duck pussy, i cant help it. take care. cant wait to see you all again. c. fazardo.

(shauny boi is talkin over) - so we woke up in the midst of a new day in a new city. we all piled into the vehicles and rode down to waffle house, our new fav. stop for breakfast. after getting all greased up from the food, we drove to st.louis and went to the zoo. that is free, might i add. and i work at the sd wild animal park, and it doesnt have shit on the st.louis zoo. well, the highlight from the zoo trip was when we were in the penguin exhibit and gilbert was looking away and a penguin came up and yelled at him. then chris was standing right next to him and a penguin splashed/spit water on him. and the grizzly bear was sucking on his dick for a crowd, which was fucking hilarious, and disgusting. after the zoo, we ate at fitz's and went to vintage vinyl. then we headed towards springfield for the show. the show was a breadstretchers. for you cali kids, it was basically a subway that held shows. the first band was pound for pound which was awesome. i got caught up in the moment and jumped onto a table and did a flip off into the pit, and for anyone who knows me, your probably not shocked. gunga dins were fucking awesome, they closed the show, i had only heard about them from nicholas and jim, and the timmy played and they had the place moving as well. then "we" played next. well, i got to jump in on the last three songs. it being my first show. and i'd have to say that my mid set, the place was going off. it was a nice change. honestly, as many times as i've seen these guys play, i'd never seen some of them get into it so much, the whole atmosphere gave off that vibe. cj was jumping around and getting crazy. chris was jumping off ricks drum set. and i ran into the crowd during keep it alive playing guitar. id have to say that the show was fucking unbelievable, it contends for one of the best shows of the tour so far. i had an old guy come up to me and tell me that i remind him of mick jones form the clash, which was weird, but he bought a cd. being such a big fan of this band, its weird and awesome to be in the band. but i had the time of my life i must say. tour is hard, you dont know how long the money is gonna last you, wher your gonna sleep, whats around the next corner, but theres nothing compared to it, its fucking awesome to get away and see new places, new people, and were all having great times. single tear...... soggy wants to remind you about duck pussy. yeah, its not everything that comes to mind, or everything i could say, but its four in the morning, fuck you, what more do you want.

    SLC
C.J. again.....So we weren't able to get a show on the 24th in Boise, so we just hung around the city and visited with my family. A huge thanks to my Aunt Donna, Uncle Gary, and my little cousins J.D. and Shane for putting us up for two days and keeping us very well fed! So we left Idaho yesterday morning and headed for SLC! It was also Chis' birthday... we were planning on some pranks, but he got pulled over in Utah and got a speeding ticket so we gave him a break..... Then we went to the SLC show. The bar was so smokey that my throat closed up. I think im allergic to cigarette smoke. So after we played I had to go outside...... But from what i could hear both the other bands were really damn good......Ill let Nicholas describe the show........ Oh and I put up the At Risk and 7 generations pics! Welp, see ya later!

nicholas' take on oct. 25th: Salt Lake City
our orignal show in SLC fell through, so when trying to find a bill to get added on, I came across an over 21 show with the Hudson Falcons at a place called Burts Tiki Lounge. im not into the over 21 shows, usually but this place was pretty cool with a long history in punk. The bands we played with were top shelf, but the crowd was tiny and committed. I thought the place hated us, but after our set we got nothing but compliments...funny ones like "you guys sound like the suburbia soundtrack"! The Utah County Swillers were a fantastic rockabilly three-piece whose bass player also plays in Endless Struggle. The Hudson Falcons were legit, working class punk/rnr with a completely different sound. They drove across country in a beat up van armed with songs about comradery and the unions. We were told that we would not be getting paid when i booked the show, but when it was over, one of the bartender passed me a handful of gas money. getting to watch the other bands and talking about guitars all night made this a good show in my eyes. if you have ever been to Scolari's Office for a show, you can relate to tonights show.
shout outs to Derwood, Scot. Tracee, Eric, Willy, and especially the Hudson Falcons.

Nicholas' take on Oct. 21st show: Santa Cruz.

It's been a long, long time since I've been to a show like this one. The "UCSC Soundbox" was a room, roughly 20'X 20', with a p.a. and a folding table for the merch. As soon as I saw the place, my heart started pounding. The bands: us, At Risk(who I have been listening to already), 7 Generations(extremely powerful vegan/edge band who we have played with before), and Gather(technical and political, and promoters of the show). The goodvibes were through the roof. This show was all friends and potential friends, which is how the shows were done in my day. Even if Hellfire Trigger didn't play, I would have considered it an honor just to attend. I can't really say enough about this night, but i wish everyone i knew was there so they could see how a perfect show runs.
Shout outs to Randy and Eva from Gather, Spencer from At Risk, and my old pals Chris, Tim, and John from 7G's.

Nicholas' take on Oct. 22nd show: Portland.

I didn't know what to expect about this show. I didn't know any of the bands on the bill. Trying to set up a show in Portland had been pretty tough. We had a show at Reed college confirmed that fell through. Then we had a house show with the Dead Unknown, and then the show got cancelled due to an eviction. Josh Baird from Countdown to Life got us this gig last minute at a place called the Paris Theatre. The Paris Theatre was awesome! San Diego has nothing even close to this. Everyone we met was very talkative and friendly, and even though we were a last minute add-on the promoter bumped us up the bill. I think we played a good set, and the response was more than we expected on a metal bill...and this just egged us on to play harder. As usual, the older guys were more into it, and someone compared us to Agression. A lady asked me for a guitar pick, too...i was shocked. I also got to pick up the new road case I ordered.
shout outs to Nate from Strenuus, Dego(sp?), Joe G. for taking full care of us, Racheal Cisco for coming out, and Justin Case Co.

Nicholas'take on Oct. 23rd show: Boise.
The show was cancelled due to lack of interest. Originally we were to play at Club Imparts, but they are having permit problems...so the show got moved to the promoter's house. No one showed, and the kids that did show left right away. I felt terrible for the promoter, but sometimes thes things happen. Like CJ says,"you can't make people show up". I must say that i totally understand. Once we put on a show in San Marcos with a strong as hell line-up: the Bad Samaritans, us, and Agent Orange. About 20 people showed up. Sometimes things dont work out.
Shout out to Kimra for doing everything she could to save the show.
